Default Modulator Box

Just installed modulator this past weekend. Got it from Dale Brooks in Halifax, NS, Canada. Very pleased with performance, very strong bottom end and NO top speed loss. Dale's modulator switches back to original map at around 35kph, eliminating need for switch as Nova installed on his. This is the first production one from him but he's considering manufacturing more if there's an interest. Oh, did I mention it's $100 can. instead of $180. Dale Brooks is red650 on the forum. I wish he had it ready a month ago. Scotia650 - does the unit appear to be waterproof?

Nova,

Dale fills the unit with epoxy to make it totally waterproof. I sent you a pm to answer some of your other questions.

And all along we thought we were pulling the wool over your eyes.

I think we confused ourselves more than anything else, diamond, square, rectangle, circle ... ??? We're actually members of a secret geometry cult and you figured us out.

Have a good day.

Does anyone in the US have one of those low-end mod boxes? Seems like they are only available in Canada.

NOVAKAW650:
Hey Scott...how ya doing? I just recieved my Mod Box but haven't had time to put it in yet(I am renovating...UGHHH!) I am really thinking about putting a switch on to prevent other people from dying! I would like to turn the box off when I am not riding it. How exactly did you wire a switch to the box? I have the wiring diagram for the 2002 p650 box...it looks very simple. But I need to know how you put on a on off switch. Any help will be appreciated. Also is the box tthat someone above mentioned from Dale in N.S. the same as ours from Freedom? I paid $180.00 Can. Oh well thats not alot of money for any mod let alone something that unleashes all that power from the start! Thaks again.
