places to look for missing antifreeze, pull your dip stick, see if the oil is turning a light brown, and look for water droplets on dip stick when cold, also check the air box.

 

Hi its the old Prairiedust, they disabled my account for unpopular opinions. Anyhow to answer your question I can guarantee that it is your primary clutch making the knocking noise. I thought I had spun a bearing but my excellent dealer just replaced the wear shoes at a cost of 40 bucks and I had no more noise.
