Default Best tires for prairie 650

I own a 03 Prairie 650. I want very light tires for mud and trail use. Which tires are best suited for this?

Just put 27" ITPmudlites on my 650 and I love them. 27X10X12 fronts and 27X12X12 rears. I heard the 26" are a little funner for playing and trail riding. But I do a lot of mudding and decided on the 27's. I heard the ITP 598 m/s are pretty good but are alittle heavy. I definitely recommend the mudlites!!

Thanks for the reply. So can you still slide with those? Did you notice any power loss?

I have 26" ITP Mudlites on my P650 and I just love them. I've done lots of hard snow pack ridding and lots of deep powder ridding, and they work very well in all situations. I'm can slide the rear around when I want. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of what the 26" look like.

Absolutely can I slide em around, I think with 30" tires you can still slide, with all the power of the 650 all you have to do is turn the wheels and punch the gas. Seriously that are still fun, I've broken both of my wrists in the last 2 months so playing and jumping have been put aside for just deep mud play. We've had a butt load of rain and all that has done is made for some great mud riding.

I did notice just a little top end power loss (63-65 mph stock now about 57-59 mph) but my low end is great after installing the black spring. It really helped with that low end grunt.

Hope you enjoy whatever you get.
