Default 650 anygood at very low speeds?

I have alot of steep hills & alot of trees to deal with so I need something to pull good at low speeds and not overheat. Is the 650 twin
made for mostly top end or would it fit my riding needs?

The 650 is great at low speeds all the way to top end. Just make sure you are in low range when going slow and riding in technical terrain. This is mainly to ease the load on the belt as the engine has plenty of torque even in high.

As for the overheating keep your rad clean and you are fine. I put a by pass switch on mine just so if I want my fan on I can turn it on. 650 really don't overheat at idle it's at a fast space they tend to overheat. You will not beat the low end power of a 650 but I would do the black spring.
