700 for the wife?
#2
depends on her riding ablility. the kfx700 is awfully fast and somewhat large for anyone to throw around the trails. If she can handle the weight and speed, then it probably would be a good buy. Plus it would give you another fast toy to play with

You need to keep the kids off the 700, and anyone else that isn't an experienced rider.
Like maddog said, she needs to be able to control it. The power is excessive, and can lead to mishaps. They handle great and ride great.
If the wife is not that serious of a rider, get her a 650 and just take all the racks and fender trim off. the 650 could also be ridden by other less serious riders.

My wife enjoys ridin' my prarie 650, but the V-Force is too much for her. Plus she doesn't like the fact that she gets alot muddier without the full fenders and floor boards. I wouldn't reccomend the 700 for any unexperienced rider. If your wife likes sport bikes, and is an experienced rider, the V-Force is an excellent ride. It handles great if you show some disgression with the throttle.
