Thats even a better idea mastr, and you can still switch to horn if desired with a 3pole 2 way toggle. I use horn as signal to others I'm riding with rather than screeming or tailgating to get their attn, but a guest rider wouldn't need to use the horn and its a good idea to have the limiter hooked up for guest safty. Think I'll go that way myself.

Thanks,

mastrblastr - I was going to do that as well and even bought the toggle switch. I may do it yet. Easy enough to change. Since I am the one that rides it only I am not worried much about the reverse safety issue. Have to wait and see. One reason is I didn't really like the style of toggles I saw but it would work. You got a good pic of what your switch looks like?

Click on the camera to see my pics. There is a picture of my winch switch with my reverse override switch too. Click on it to see a bigger view. I bought the smallest switch I could find.

That looks fine. I will probably add the switch in as well once I find one I like.

I tried to find a marine switch that was really small, but couldn't get one around here. I don't know if I could get the rubber cover for the switch I have or not. If you can, get a switch that is marine grade, or one that has the rubber cover that fits over the entire switch. It will keep it from filling up with mud and water. I haven't had any problems with mine yet, but it would be better if it was waterproof.

WITM, that looks good! I like the idea of having it illuminated. I usually leave mine on. The only time I turn it off is when my boy rides it, and that ain't very often!!! I gotta get another quad!

Yeah, I like it like that as well. The red blends right in too. It will always be on unless someone besides me is riding then I will turn it off. Good idea to put it on.

Oops. Guess I need to flip a wire. I blew my main fuse. I had the override switch on and pushed the override button, poof. There went the fuse. Oh well to the store to get one. I'll post the exact wiring on this when I get it on.
