Default tire slime stuff

I just got some ATV tire slime from my Father in laws feed store, price was right. I have a slow leak in two of my tires, no holes that I can see. Just wondering, it sais to not use on uncoated aluminum rims, are mine uncoated? If so, too late...Also it sais to put the whole 32 OZ in each tire, thats kind of heavy if you ask me. I think im going to try to get away with 16 OZ in each tire, thats the on road amount recomended on the bottle.
Also, anybody have any balance issues after using this stuff? Dont want any weeble wobble. Thanks for your inputs.

P.S. If anybody is gonna do this, have a toothpick handy to clear out your valve stem every few bottle squeezes, thick stuff!

The stuff works. I started using it about 4 years ago.

I have it in all my quads and even my lawn and garden tractors and small trailors that I pull around with the quads. I used to get thorns in tractors small tires and get a flat. Not any more.

I can't remember but I think I put 16 oz in each tire too. I would have to go look at what the bottle says for applications but 32 oz sounds like a bit much for a quad tire.

I have it in my raptor and that's the first I have heard about the uncoated aluminum rims. I don't know what the raptor would have as far as the inside of its aluminum wheel. Too late now to worry about it.

I haven't noticed any unbalance problem.

Thanks for the reply, I cant see it hurting the rim, I didnt read the whole bottle until I had finished mine. Maybe it would just stick to it more instead of the tire. Glad to hear it works!

Ive used slime in the past and it. real good stuff.
You may notice a little wobble when you first start riddind because it settles to the bottom after a while but it only takes about a mile or so before it spreads out again.

Keep in mind that there are 2 kinds of slime, one for tube tires and one for tubeless tires.

Hey thanks 400! I do love my truck!

I have been to FTW before but Ive never posted there, maybe I need to check that one out again.

My favorite truck site is the Lightning fourm at F150online.com. I also post on NLOC.net sometime.
