I was wondering if my running lights could be pulling to much juice. When the lights are on it starts to miss bad. Does anyone know if this could be the problem?

(total wattage 55 x 2 = 110) watts/volts=ampres 110/12=9.167 amps not sure what the generator puts out but it may be a lot of amp draw this figure is for the lights only. it could be more according to the wire used( if it is smaller it will go up if it is large it will not go below this number)
