I'm looking for an aftermarket air filter for my prairie 650 and i was wondering what i should get. I've hear some bad things about twinair not having a good seal, and i want to stay away form K&N because i live in nevada. thanks

Badprairie, I have tried just about ever filter they make out there for a prairie and always fall back to the K&N. Whats the beef with Nevada? The No-Toil is also good with a good seal and easy clean up.

I don't know about the bad seal......on my 2003, when I put the filter on, the wing nuts tighten down on it and it seals real good. I've heard about the K&N's not sealing good on a 2002 airbox

Its really dry and dusty and I'm afraid that K&N wont filter everything.

I never had any problems with dirt getting by the seal, maybe a little filter grease may solve that problem. My air box lid fits really tight with the K&N!

If you are going to be cleaning your filter that often the No-toil will be the way to go. It is the easiest filter system for cleaning and is also waterproof!

The No-Toil is a foam filter, not like a K&N. They offer a cleaning kit with everything you need to maintain your filter. You can get over the net somewhere? (for around $40 with shipping) that includes filter and kit.
