The Dyno jet kit comes with a new spring depending on elevation but can I get a different spring with out the dyno jet kit.
The shop guys were saying that the spring on stock machines is set up for sea level and by changing the jets alone, it would not get the full benefit of having a spring for the correct elevation. I ride 4500 ft and up. never lower than that. I would like to stay with kehien jets. are the different springs even available without a kit?

Are these springs the same as choke springs? I sure don't know much but would like to learn.

I think they are talking about diaphram springs, choke springs don't care about elev.

I would get the kit unless you find someone else to get you a spring separately.
