Default KFX700 Yoshimura Exhaust(good info)

I talked to yoshimura about their dual exhaust system. It has a cross over tube which causes scavenging like a single exhaust would but with better flow. The reason for this is with a single you get a scavenging effect causing better torque and low-mid power. The duals usually give better topend because of the higher flow rate. This dual system with the cross over will have single lowend torque and HP with the dual top end power. Thats awsome. Now if it isnt to expensive i am going to order it instead of the HMF. But if the price isnt real high i am going with the Yoshi. This is great news if you ask me!!

Did they say when their dual system would be ready?

They said it should be available in about a month. I hope sooner then that. But if it performs as good as it should it should be well worth the wait.

NYVorce .... I am betting you won't be disapointed with HMF.

I called Yoshi before I ordered the HMF. The HP they were expecting was the same as HMF was
showing on their dyno. ................ Mine gained a bunch of bottom / mid range torque with the HMF

Pipes will be OK but clutching and CDI are the way to go and still looks stock.

I am sitting and waiting on those Yosi Duals as well. You guys speak up if they become available. They look awsome. I hope they sound as good as they look.

FORCE: can you elaborate a little on CDI and Clutching?

I used work partime at snowmobile dealer and they raced Artic Cats. They wound spend weeks in the field working on clutching for grass drags. When they got done you would of thought they spent $5000 on motor and all they did is make it shift at the perfect time. Ramps and weights are where its at. V-Force has very similar clutch as sled. This is what Ill being doing since I plan on racing in stock ATV drag races next winter.

force
Your right about the clutching but i want the ultimate performance. I am going to get a tach so after i get the pipes put on i can get the shift rate and such spot on for the pipes HP curve.
