do you have to charge battery with a charger or do you wire into the stator (lighting coil) Just curious???? mike

The wiring taps into the lighting so when it's running w/o the light on it recieves a charge. Therefore when the headlight is on the battery doesn't get much of a charge.

Just curious, how long did it take you to install the electric start kit on your Mojave?

Also, what did it cost?

$400 FOR THE KIT PLUS EXPECT TO PAY $25-$35 FOR A BATTERY. It took me 1/2 the day to get the @$%$^#* flywheel off but after that it was only about 2hrs.
