I installed my Goki elc. start kit this weekend and it works great. I was impressed with the kit and the instructions were real detailed. Once I finally got my fly wheel off (What a @$##$$% that was) everything went smoothly. Goki manufactures a new left side cover that has a place for the starter to bolt too. You then press a supplied ring gear on the fly wheel. And the battery is mounted up front in between the frame rails behind the bumper. The switch is mounted by the handle bar clamp therefore you have to take a hand off the bars to press the button. I will probably look at mounting a different switch near my clutch perch. I rode at a motocross track today and the only problem was the battery mounting moved slightly all it needs is some tighter clamps. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Do you have any pics of it on your bike? I am thinking about one, but I want to see how it looks first.

I know this is kind of off the point, but I have a question. I read a test on the 00 Mojave that said the bike now comes with electric start and a recoil back-up. The specs on the bike on Kawasaki's web site state it is a kick start. Did I just read wrong? Am I too tired? If anybody knows for sure please respond. I'm thinking of getting one for my girlfriend.

You must have been looking at the Lakota (still a great quad, I bought one for my wife).

Phone # for Goki: 818-998-0852 Their in Chatsworth, CA. I have only ridden it a couple times so far so good just the battery mount moved on me, That should be a simple fix. The battery weighs 9 Lbs I didn't weigh the starter but I would estimate 15 lbs. including the battery.
