Default KFX400 idle

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I just recently got rid of my R6, and got me a KFX400, and im loving it. I however do have a question. I've had the KFX for probally about a month now, and it's good and broke-in, but whenever it is at an idle, if almost acts like the motor is missing or it just doesn't idle too smooth. then if u give it some sudden throttle at idle, it just dies. anyone know what's up. I've tried adjusting the idle speed some, but i don't want to set it too high.

one the bottome of the carb there is a little screw for the idle air mixture. try turning it in all the way, and then back out 2.5 turns. That is a good place to start. Also you may want to get a hold of your dealer that you got the bike from. A lot of times they recomennd that you bring it in after it has been broken in becuase the bike will need to have the jetting adjusted. I know what you are going through, my sisters bike did the same thing. She took it in to the shop and now all is well.
