Default Help front end noise on P650!!

Guys,

I now have about 250 miles on my new 26" Mudlites. Last weekend while doing some technical rock climbing I noticed a pop-pop-pop noise comming from the front end when I am making a very tight turn under power. Have I broken something? the machine seems to run fine otherwise. It only makes this noise when in a tight turn under power. I have checked all CV boots and they are intact. Help!!

Sounds like wheel bearings, check both sides if You have been in a bunch of water.
Thats what I found My problem to be when I had front end poppin, just a guess but
sounds like the culprit if does it on hard turns.
Good Luck!

If it's not your wheel bearings, better pull your outboard CV boots off and have a look. Hope it's not an outboard CV, cause if it is, you gotta get an entire axle (or find a place that can rebuild your CV). Good luck.

That popping you are hearing is your Mudlites rubbing on the inner fender plastic.
It can be fixed by trimming a little of the material away.......just my two bits......mine does it too!!!

I think it's your plastic too but heres something else: If you are in 4wd with the diff locked this is normal, don't use diff lock on a tight turns. If your not holding th e diff lock I would check both directions you might find your diff lock cable is too tight or around something when you are turning you streching the cable. Keep in mind when you are rock climbing you have more traction with the mudlights so I would do less agressive turns even at slow speeds. A loose swingarm bolt will also do this but it should require more miles than what you have.
