Default V-Force and High altitude ??

XC800
Is ATTAC the same type of product as Dial-A-Jet ?
D-A-J has a kit for the Prairie 650 for $99 + a required snorkel kit for $9, haven't seen anything listed for the VForce yet but you would think, it would be right around the corner for it to be available soon for the VForce.
I have looked into the D-A-J kit but till I hear from some others of the install & preformance of the unit on a Prairie 650, I am holding off for now.

Check out their website. WWW.HOLZTMANENG.COM. A bunch of guys used to run dial a jets in the sleds before these came out.

The main differences are the ATTAC also adjusts for barametric pressure and they vary as you change in alititude and temp. Meaning if you go up 500 feet on the trail, the unit will adjust for this difference on its own. The dial a jets you adjust manually and even then you are really only spot on for that excact elevation. I called Barry and he is sending me the instructions for the vacumn source hook up for the KFX carbs as they are not included with the instructions. If you call Holtzman direct, tell then your lowest elevation and coolest temp you will ride, they will set up the base setting before they ship the unit . Not to shabby.

Great info & thanks, I will check it out.
Does sound like a better system than Dail-a-Jet.
Thanks again.
