I would check my manual to be sure, but I would bet that it takes the Kawasaki Wet Brake Fluid (Also Mobilfluid 424). Be careful and don't put the wrong stuff in there.

.95 US qt of Mobil fluid 424, Citco Transguard, Tractor hydraulic fluid or Kawachem gear & wet brake oil. This is right from the owners manual.

I'm having a real hard time locating Mobil 424 gear oil. Does anyone know who stocks this or if there is someplace on-line that sell's it. Mobil 1 used to have a on-line E store, but no longer. Thanks in advance for the help, Putt

I just went to my dealer and bought the Kawichem, I figure it's worth the couple of extra dollars you pay.

Know what? I just did the same. I'm a loyal Mobil 1 user, I use it in everything I build, including the Mobil 1 engine oil I just put in my V. I did find thier 424 on the web however but I would have had to buy 2 1/2 gallons of it. The factory stuff will do fine, take care all and thx, Putt

Same here. I use Mobil 1 products whenever possible. Even their grease. I went to five automotive type stores, and asked about Mobil1 424 oil. "What's that"? was all I heard at each place. I went to the Kaw dealer and bought two quarts of Kawachem.

You can get T.H.F. (tractor hyd. fluid) at any napa, they usually have more than one brand. I was thinking about using the Valvoline.
