Default breaking plastic everytime I go out

Can anyone help out with a problem I have with my klf 400. The plastic skirting on my bike is always getting cracked or brocken off. I,m not talking about the main fenders but the 4-6inch skirting plastic that bolts on to that. It seems like fairly hard plastic to me.I have noticed on hondas and polaris machines that there skirting plastic almost seems rubber like, way more flexible. Anything aftermarket? dealer wasn,t sure of anything..... thanks in advance for any suggestions AC

You should be able to get a set from Maier, they make plastic products for atv's & dirt bikes.I got a set of fender extenders right from Kawasaki.com $ 40 bucks for all 4 for my bike 03 360 4x4 and they seem really flexible.
