ds 50 wont run??

Default ds 50 wont run??

Hi all. I have a 05 ds 50 it has spark gas and 70-75 lbs compression??? but it will not fire any ideas thanks o yeah thats with a new jug piston rings and gaskets

Im no expert, but have done alot of reading lately.

Sounds like a kill/on off switch may be bad, im sure someone will chime in, but I would test any and all with a multimeter or eliminate them from the loop.

Default ds50 wont run

I have spark so its not a kill switch issue i am thinking compression

I know but I just put a new cyl. piston and rings on it cant figure out why it is low it shouldnt be??????????????????????????????

Try a few drops of oil in the plug hole to tighten it up. Should pull fuel in now.
Try hand choking it (2 fingers in front of carb).

I am getting fuel and spark It wont fire even with starting fluid so choking it isnt going to help I think its just cause the comp is so low but I cant figure out why its so low???

I'll explain better putting oil in the spark plug hole will allow the piston wall clearance to tighten up This will increasecompression and hopefully pull fuel in Hand choking will help the fuel get in with less compression comp is low because the rings are not seated and won't be till run a bit

So you think putting a drop of oil in the cyl will gain compresion enough to fire? even though it wouldnt fire directly on startin fluid. as I stated before I am getting fuel into the cylinder?

You stated you have a problem.
I stated things to try....Start trying..LOL
And yes, I think a few drops of oil can make a difference.
