TAO TAO 110 with blown head gasket
#1
My son and nephew got 110 atvs for Christmas. The first time we started my nephew's it made a slight popping sound, after started it would run fine. Over the last couple weeks we notice a few drops of oil under it. When I looked into it today I can see the headgasket is torn and sticking out slightly. I need to replace the head gasket.
Where I can get a schematic of the motor and the torque specs for the head bolts etc?
Do you have to pull the motor off the frame to get the head off?
Do you have to remove the rockers to get the head off?
Are the rockers bolt down or do you adjust them?
Are there timing marks / how do you get it back in time?
Any other advice / info you would share is much appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't have a 110cc quad, nor have I ever taken one apart. I don't know the answer to most of your questions.
But there are some torque spec's and some exploded head diagrams here:
HighRpmRacer's Online Store - Chinese ATV Service Manuals- 110cc Dirt Bike - Loncin Engine Parts - Chinese ATV Parts
The Clymer Honda for sale there is what most people use for reference on a 110cc machine since the chinese version is an exact copy. It may be worth the expense.

Thanks for the link. I notice that the manual is still up, but the main page (www.cbxmanmotorcycles.com) is down. I wonder how long the manual will be up.
