Lt 50 quad using excess oil
#1
Hi,
have recently purchased another suzuki lt 50 kids quad. Starts fine and goes like a rocket. Only downside is it's really smokey. Adjusted the carburettor so the fuel intake isn't as rich which has helped a little. Also cleaned out the air filter but it's still too smokey. When the bike gets hot and has been used a while i have noticed a coating of oil where the exhaust joins the bottom of the engine. Having kept my eye on the oil tank it is clearly getting through too much 2 stroke oil too quickly which i think is causing the smokey symptoms. Is there anyway of regulating how much oil the auto injection pump system uses at all as i can't see anything obvious? Have owned many lt50's previously and never had this problem before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yeh think it might be the only option. Was hoping to avoid this solution as I have another lt 50 that my other kid uses that doesn't have this problem which means I am going to have to use clean gas on the one and pre mix ion the other. Might just be easier to disconnect both in all honesty so I know exactly what I am dealing with and don't end up incorrectly filling one of the bikes
