Question for member "lt80"

Well, if I had to describe my wife, I guess ute would be a lot better description than sporty.

if I had to describe my ex.... I guess "bitch" would be a better description than "ute"

Well I've been doing some research for some lt80 mods and "lt80" seems like the person to go to. My question is how much would you charge if I sent you my motor to get "the works" done to it? I mean like everything you would do for one of your race motors.
Also, if I decided to do everything my self how hard would it be to do the clutch mods and reed cage mod? What pipe and carb would you recommend? How much should I port the exhaust and intake ports? How much should I shave my head? If I ported it would you recommend making "windows" in the piston? What gearing would you recommend? and what parts should I get?
Any help is appreciated

Once I bought a $175 porting motor and handpieces, I figured out that I needed a $350 right angle handpiece. (And those prices was 15 years ago) Next I needed the bits and sandpaper.
Hey, Now I need a $200 el-cheapo band saw.
The wife asked if I could make some money now. I told her that I needed a lathe. Course, you need a full compliment of goodies for the lathe.
So to answer, if you got all that stuff....It's very easy..LOL
I recommend a stock carb.
I don't window pistons. Testing on my motors didn't show any differences. I can do it tho if it makes the customer feel better.
Gearing depends on mods and tire size. Stock or 1 up on the front sprocket is what's usually recommended.
Please email for options and prices.
Don't pay no attention to beernut. Next this henpeckedredneckfromky and a 95wolv will pop in.
