Gio 110cc vibrates like crazy
#1
Hi,
I picked up a used GIO 110c atv for my son. I've rewired it and replaced a few bits and it's running great. The only challenge is that it seems to vibrate so much that my son doesn't like to ride it very much. After about 10 minutes, he's already lifting his feet off the footrests. Not sure if there are any kind of rubber engine mounts or what's causing it. Any ideas on what to check or what to try to fix
Thanks

Check the engine bolts are tight. Is it engine vibration or only when moving, if moving, it can be buckled wheels or chain/sprocket problems. If it is engine vibration, someone may have upset the balance by altering the flywheel, conrod etc, or it could be worn bearings.

Thanks. Everything seems tight and it vibrates all the time. Could just be normal vibration as the motor itself doesn’t seem to shake or move abnormally. I noticed the engine bolts directly to a flat plate on the frame. Not sure if putting in some thin rubber bushings would help at all.
