Default 2006 Polaris 90

Maybe you guys can help me here. This thing has sat for a while. I put on a new carb, starter and starter relay. I attached a video to show. It runs great using the kick start but for some reason it won't turn over using the starter. I just clicks and the starter get hot if you hold the starter button down. What am I missing? Thank you.

Can't tell for certain, but that looks like the two stroke 90 which used the Minarelli engine. First thing is to make sure power is getting to the starter. I fit a 12v test lamp between starter lead and earth, switch on, press starter, if it lights, there is an electrical problem with the starter, if it doesn't, a problem with the solenoid. Other possibility is starter seized, but you usually get the solenoid clicking like a buzzer as power drains from battery and solenoid drops out, then power builds again and solenoid clicks back in. To check this, remove lead from starter and do test again, if the light then comes on, it is a seized starter. or the reduction idler gear could have seized.
