Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
My son will be running his LT80 for one more summer and I would like to make it more stable. With only one more year of use, the amount of money spent is a factor. I can get 2 1/2 inch wheel spacers for the front and back: total cost - $120. The second option would be a James Lucky front end extender kit (3" per side) and a set of wheel spacers on the back: total cost - $210. Does anyone have experience with these kits or have any opinions? Thanks, guys.

Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
I installed the JL arm ext. 3" plus each side (front) & 2 1/2" wheel spacers on the rear of my daughter lt80 just before a give it to her for her birthday (5/26/03). They are great, I can get on it and do dunots with no problem. It is her first 4-wheeler and was unsure about her ability and this gave me a peice of mind. This lt80 that I got wasn't stock and didn't know that it was this fast. I suggest going with this set up, it made a belieler out of me! Remember that kids should always have all the riding gear, helmet, goggles, gloves & boots. If you get more the better but this is the min.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
Ajonesokie,
I checked it out, but it is a completely differect setup than we sell. Ours is much less complicated and takes about 10 minutes to change over. Here is a link to one of our ebay auctions that closed. The price per kit is listed in there. I do not want to get to detailed in here, because im not sure they would consider me advertising or not. Im not trying to do that. My email address is in the previous post if you want to contact me outside of the forum.

Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
The JL 3" kit is awsome!! I put it on my son's LT 2 yrs ago. He raced 2 seasons of mx and never so much as lifted a tire. Now my daughter is riding it and I couldn't feel more confident in the stability of that quad. As for the rear, I bought 8" Douglas rims and mounted Turf Tamers on them. No need for spacers.

Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
I am pondering purchasing 8x8 wheels for my sons LT80. Can anyone tell me if they are offset, or come in different offsets?
He has always ridden on sand with stock fronts, and aluminum rears with Paddles, the rear wheels are labeled
"8x7 3B + 4n 3/120 .125 10mm" I'm not sure but believe that it may be 7" wide wheel with 1" positive offset. This works well on the sand. Has anyone tried to use this offset on the front. I am looking for a way to make the quad more stable on dirt. Also any recomendations on a dirt tire set-up?
If it's as easy as buying a set ofnew wheels, I would prefer this over the extenders or front widening kit.
Thanks,
