Would drilling holes in the airbox of a 90 do any improvments?

Maybe but probably need to jet up on the carbs to compensate for the increased air flow.

not sure what's on the quad for a carb, but after putting holes in the airbox, rejet it. If you look at my link to photos, under quad pics, univents are a great way to mod the airbox. They are cheep and require a 1"hole, yet still protect from crap getting into the airbox.

I'm not sure, talk to your local dealer, or a dirt bike place. They should have the catalogs, and more than likely have the jetting and airbox mods to help you out.

IMO::: Your not going to improve it much. I'd leave it alone.

Opening up some air in the airbox will help a little but your power will only icrease with a pipe. Removing the bafles inside the stock pipe will really only make it louder. Either way, anything you do to you engine's air flow will require a jet adjustment.

LT80, Give me a call 678-873-6253 after 5pm. Thanks, Tommy

thanks guys. i think im gonna leave it alone untill i can rejet it at the same time. since this little quad was only made for 2 years there are no performance parts that i can locate. I heard about chopping up a old pipe and adding a supertrapp for a different 110 to the end, do you think that would work out better?
