Default Lt 80 fuel mix?

Yes it is lean, but I feel it's from the carb having something obstructing the fuel. It acts like it does cuz when you push the throttle hard it gulps in too much air cuz the fuel is blocked. To feather it helps, tells me alot.
Take the carb off and do a good cleaning (remove both jets),INCLUDING removing the brass where the needle sits and making sure thats all clean.
Glad to help

Default Lt 80 fuel mix?

Just guessing here, but does the carb on a lt80 normally flow oil/fuel through the jets? If not wouldn't it need to be jetted a little richer? Also if it is oil injected could there be an air leak at the point of injection if it is not through the carb and not blocked off?

The reason it does that is the bottom of your carburetor has a little tank it feels all the way up to a certain line now if you hear it for throttle it’s gonna have enough gas to drink it all but if you have your jetting see it maybe too low or too high it’s not gonna take the throttle response so the best spot for your dating is about the middle not if you check that and it’s at the middle try raising it one notch

Sir, it's a 16 year old thread dude. FYI: A period and a comma would really help others understand what you are saying.
