LT80 Mods Help
#1
What mods are people doing to get more power out of the LT-80 while maintaining reliability.
My son is still small, but rides the 80 wide open in the sand. I've considered adding a pipe ....
One guy I know recently added a LRD pipe, and had them perform a clutch mod. his bike will not go out of a sand bowl that stock bikes are coming out of???? He was disappointed for the $ spent. He recommended the DG pipe for the lower cost.
As this bike is 3 years old, I plan to install a frech top-end this winter. Is there anything else I should do while it's open?
Porting?
Shaved Head?
Reeds?
What are the best pistons?

Ok I have been sending this out alot. But read on the clutch job. Looks and sounds like something you can do on your own. Seems like everyone is pointing to clutch job and port and polish.
Read on this artical of the clutch, its free and makes good sence: http://www.off-road.com/atv/kidskorner/clutching1.html
Read all three pages and they even have a blow up of the clutch. Good information.

As your friend found out, clutch mods without motor mods just don't work.
Stock suzuki pistons are best.
Get a motor kit~~ motor and clutch mods that work together.
