Default LT80 front wheel spacers?

Thinking about widening the stance of my daughter's LT80. Has anyone used wheel spacers?
I found a set from Graydon Proline: http://www.graydonproline.com/

Or can I just get a different offset wheel?

Any suggestions for front tire wheel size & brand (currently19x7x8)? She mostly rides in the sand, but does ride in the dirt a bit, so I don't want sand only tires.

Thanks,

Jon

James Lucky sells long A-arms for the LT80. I put Turf Tamers on the rear, and it widened the back end considerably, but I wouldn't say they are the ultimate sand tire. Sorry, can't remember the tire or rim size, but I think I got them from James Lucky also. Nobody recognized it as an LT80 when I was done!

I saw the a-arm extenders on the JL website, but not a-arms. Do they actually have a-arms too?

Yes they do make +3 a arms for the LT 80, I bought my daughter a set for racing and that thing is very stable, as far as the turf tamers for the rear they are a little wide and can break the cases, so I was told. I have a new set of them on rims though if you want a set!

Here is the package JL has for LT80 Tires:

Kits contains two 20x7:00x8 Cheng Shin tires mounted on two Douglas .125 polished aluminum rims for the front and two 18x9:50x8 Titan Turf Tamer tires mounted on two Douglas .125 aluminum polished rims for the rear.

Code: KT80
Price: $230.00

Are the Turf Tamers wider than stock? What is this about breaking the case?

Don't get the Cheng Shin fronts! They will make the bike push real bad in turns.

JL Lucky Front End Extender Kit $150. Widens the Front 6 inches. ITP Holeshot Tires 18X10X8 Rear (nothing cracks or breaks) / 19X6X10 Both sets mounted on T-9 Rims. Also go with a K&N Air Filter for the LT80 (fits inside the stock airbox) and go with an FMF Fatty Pipe & Power Core 2 setup. Cheap way to make the bike wider, perform better, sound better, and even look better. Also you can put AC Nerf bars on this little dude.

Here is what I just did to mine today to widen the front. I flipped the wheels, plugged the old valve stem holes with JBWeld and drilled two new ones on the oposite side. That gained me an inch per side. Next I knocked out the wheel studs and put in 3" long bolts and two nuts per bolt on the wheel side as spacers. I had to grind a little off the sides of the head of the bolts so they would fit in the stud slot. This gained me one and a half inches. Total gain per side 2.5 inches. Total cost 6 dollars. Total time 2 hrs.
