Now that we have the quad, Son wants to go to the local indoor track and "practice"...in the 4-6 yr old practice time.
I have to buy boots and a chest protector,( I will buy these even if he didnt want to go, just that added bit of protection)
anyhow, I am guessing that someone here has some that their kids have outgrown.
Looking to buy both, need to be in GREAT shape, used is ok, but not destroyed..
Thanks, Deb

Oneal has a new kids chest protector out and it is nice, and only like 30 buks. Bought two of them for xmas presents. And they have cheap kids boots too. They do the job. If not buy Alpinestars for 100 for the kids a better boot, more protection.

My son races quads on a modified 50thats fast as can be. he had a bad wreck and were very glad we had spent the money and bought a good chest protecter from fox, They are a little more exspensive but when the quad hit his chest and he walked away it was worth ten times the money. Also the fox tracker youth boots are great, from when it landed on his legs and he flew through the air and the quad flipped several times. You can find lots of kids gear but even if you ride in the yard, accidents happen and having the kids protected is worth any amount of money. Rockymoutainatv. com always has stuff on sale, but buy good stuff and watch your kids have a blast safely.

I know your looking for a deal but this time it's not worth it. Spend the extra 10 bucks and get him the good stuff that fits right. I just bought a helmet, goggles, gloves, and chest protector as part of his Christmas present and barely spent over a hundred on all of it. Ask the dealer for a discount. They cut me 20% off just for the lilttle guy. They still make money and would rather make just a little and see the little guys safe than make a killing and have one get hurt.
My best advise is to take him in and let him try it on. I did this about 2 weeks before Christmas. Then you know what to get. It's not worth the little bit extra to take him to the emergency room. I'm a tight wad, but don't be cheap on this one. Keep the little un's safe. Good Luck, and God Bless.
Merry Christmas to all

When buying a chest protector, remember it covers your kids chest and back! We spent the money and bought a top of the line protector and helmet. You can buy gloves and clothes on sale and if the kid likes them then cool, but if you buy soft fabric and thin plastic protection in a chest protector it is not safe for the kid or for you if the mom gets a hold of you if your kid gets hurt!
