Pred 90- waterproof
Has anyone found a way to keep the flywheel area dry and clean of mud. At the riding area in our county, by the end of the day the 90 will die( starts loosing spark) because of dirt build up in the flywheel area. You can wash it out in the creek but then you have to put it in the hauler to let it dry out by the heaters before he can ride again. I have to have the air flow due to the mod's( 0.030" off head, 25 over pistion, ported, polished/wided exhaust port, WRH race pipe, dual stage reeds, clutch kit, single throttle cable, running premium and 40:1 klotz, 30 pilot and 92 main jet), this is an 03 model. any ideas?
thanks

The air vent cover over the fan can be replaced with an 04 style that has been changed to a snorkle. I also got some vulcanized roofing rubber that is about 3" wide X 1/8" thick, and I cut it to 1" strips and seal off the plastic cover seams. Haven't had a problem since I have done that.
