Yo, Yea there is a washer that is between the header and the head - The dealer told me he was not allowed to touch them. Take it off you will see it in there- Take it out and throw it away. We just use the one on the throtle for the kids.

 

I find that the exhaust restrictors work well for killing the power if you have a kid with no experience and are concerned about what he might do.Our Viper had the throttle screw turned in but it would still take off like a bat out of hell, the screw just limits the top end.Maybe leave that one in for a day or two unless your kids can handle the power.

 

My restrictors were both awal. One of the first things I checked. i wanted it to get as much air as possible to lower the smoke level from putting around. Second thought, It actually might have kept more heat in the cylinder for a complete burn. Hmmm...
