My daughter got her predator 90 this morning and it was so funny...She did a little dance[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Good thing I set her up at half throttle because she wants to go wide open. Good thing we have a really big yard.

 

Way to go!!!! Sure hope you had your video camera on full throttle as well. Pictures of your daughter's dance and her first ride are always priceless.

Yeah, I had the camcorder in hand for the dance....pretty funny[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I've laughed every time we've played it. I think I will have to crank the throttle limiter in a bit more. She wants to run wide open all the time. She was going into a turn today and took it up on two wheels; scared both of us pretty good. I think it was a learning experience for her. I've told her repeatedly already that she can go a little fast in the straights, but she needs to slow down when approaching turns. I don't think she took me very seriously until today. We're both having a lot of fun, but I will admit this makes me very nervous.

My daughter also got her Predator 90 Christmas morning and she loves it. She also likes to ride at wide open throttle. I have the limiter adjusted in some and the jumper is still on the CDI. She has also gone into a turn alittle to fast and managed to get the wheels up off the ground. I think it scared me more than it did her. Even with throttle limited and all, I have ridden it( 6ft, 185lbs) and I enjoy it too. Now I am ready for her to get better on it so I can take off all the performance limits so, that Dad can ride it harder [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Hey Mike, I removed the cdi jumper from ours. I've been told that they will foul the plug pretty quickly with it in. I have the throttle limiter at about halfway. I think I will turn it in a little further. I rode this one too. It does have a lot of spunk for a 90.

 

Congrats man, I got a mini wheeler for my son for christmas too. I think I was more excited than he was. Makes you feel like a proud pop doesn't it. Good luck and be careful, best wishes!!!
