Th only restrictors that are on lem quads are in the pipe right by the head intake, and of course the throttle gov. You might want to check your crank and piston yto make sure they are good. piston is easy just take top of head off and give it a look. You can see if your crank is bent by pulling the cover on the elec side and tour it and watch it as it goes by the stader to see if its moving further away or getting closer. you can change the gears and get more buttom end or top end also. How do I tell if it might be the clutch?

her lem is already a 50cc, 10cc more will make that much of a difference? where do they put restrictions on these motors? Can i change the clutch or rear gear and if so what raitio should i try?

 

The 60cc kit is a reed motor, tons of more power. the only restrictor is in the pipe. you said there was none there. rebel gears makes a sprocket for it. ac racing carries it[ mike marion]714-808-8330 we went to a 53 rear.

 

sorry, action polini carries a 3 shoe that will fit that motor also they have one up on ebay now. go to motorcycles then parts and acc. then type in lem in the box.

 

check your main jet should be 65 mine came with a 60 in it .
the #65 made scoot and take off.worth checking you won't believe the differenc...
