Hey guys,
We just picked up another LT80. The first one came modded already. It has a fmf shorty pipe on it and seems to have no rev limiter. This second one that i just picked up is completely stock and completely slow. Power cuts out early (rev limiter). Im just curious as to what i can do to make it quicker. How do i get rid of the rev limiter? Obviously a pipe would be a good idea too. Is there any pipes out there that are better then the fmf shorty?

thanks for the tips! I will try cleaning the carb. However it is practically brand new so i dont think its going to be that. The guy told me that he put a restrictor on it. It was for his kid and he didnt want him going too fast. Where do i look?

 

 

thanks a lot for your help. Im going to see what i can do tomorrow to get it running quicker. You have any pictures of where this carb slide is? Sorry im not too familiar with quads yet.

 

 

class was cancelled. Im going to go check it out now. For some reason the lt80 seems to die after about 30 seonds of just idling. Should i try turning the idle up?

 

 

took out the restrictor in the exhaust. It is about 10 times as fast now. Thanks for the help.
