E-ton service
#1
I need to change the oil for the first time in our little E-ton 150. Does anybody know what oil it takes and how much. Also, is there anything else that needs serviced on the bike, besides chain lube?

It has been holding up great. The only problem we have had is a head light went out and cant figure out why. Some times when you shift into FOWARD it makes a clicking sound like it takes a second for the transmision to hook up, but if you go easy on the throttle till you know its hooked up, its fine. Also, the front brakes seem like they need adjusting. They work ok, but I think they need more stopping power. I have been very impressed with this machine. We got it primarily for my mom to ride around the farm on. She saw it one day when we were shopping for the Polaris, and loved it. She felt comfortable on it, and she doesnt have to shift gears. We use it almost daily, and have had no problems. It is very powerful for a 150 and my sister rides it on trail rides some.It handles smooth to moderate terain pretty well. If someone is looking for a small atv for younger riders, or smaller riders this is a great pick.
As far as the service, I have already had the chain adjusted. What kind of 4stroke oil do you recomend, or does it matter as long as it is 4stroke? The website said it had a one liter oil capacity. Does this mean I use exactly one liter oil to refill it or do you use a little less? I know these may seem like simple questions, but im not sure .
Another think, like I said above, my sister rides it on trail rides some. Does anyone make skid plates for the bottom of the frame. I have thought about cutting and welding a sheet of steel to the bottom of the frame to potect the engine. She doesn't abuse the little quad, but I would feel more confident if it had some kind of a skid. Would cutting and adding a skid have any ill effects that yall know of ?
