You can do a search for LT80 mods and you'll probably be surprised how much you'll find in here. The spacers are in the exhaust, take the pipe off the motor and there it is. The other is in the carb, on top of the slide, just a spacer also.

You can remove the head gasket. That'll bump compression a lil. You can also remove 2 of the front clutch rollers.
That's about all I recommend for a stock machine.

When removing the head gasket, does it seal with out it? I've never heard of not running some sort of gasket there. Is it even worth the trouble to do it? Thanks!!!

Yes it seals. You use a lil gasket stuff or grease and it'll be fine.
Worth it? It takes 10 minutes to find out Some say yes, others say no.

If your sitting on the quad, they are on the left side. I had to take the foot pegs lose from the frame, if you still have the plastic from the rear of the pegs to the rear fenders, undo it there also. Remove the side cover revelaling the front and rear clutches and drive belt. the rollers are in the front clutch. You have to remove the clutch and take the back caver off to get to them. The clutch on ours would not come off ez, so beware. It's not really a big job, took me 2 hrs to get every thing apart, and about 15 min to put it all back. Funny how it works like that!! You might want to do a search on here for more clutch info or PM LT80, he's the man on these things!!

Speaking of clutches, how often should the belt be replaced? Any measurment on it to tell how worn it is? Any good belt secrets?
