You don't.... It has no adjustment. You will have to fabricate a roller or tensioner yourself. Do a search. There's a post on here about this and it has a picture of a roller/tensioner. I think is was posted by LT80. I just set one up myself. I removed one of the bolts off the rear housing bracket (right between both sprockets). Then added a longer bolt in it's location with a chain roller) so far it seems to work.

Look on my photo page. There are two versions of a chain roller for an LT80. They are very easy to make. The one labeled LT80's chain roller was done with a roller skate wheel of all things. Set the roller on a bolt and hold against the frame in a way the puts pressure on the chain. Mark the bolt hole and drill it out. Place the bolt through the frame with the roller on and a nut and washer on both sides and your done. The other roller on the page is my version and it works with the cover on. I had to trim the bottom of the cover a tad, but it is still very functional. Let me know if you have any questions.

LOL!!
The story on that roller skate deal is: I needed a roller one night and a friiend that raced with us gave me it. It wore forever tho
I usually use the aftermarket rollers now.
