Default 1st race with the LT80

Well yesterday we went to our first cross country race with the LT. My 10 yr old rode it to a 2nd place finish. The first place went to a factory sponserd rider, riding a Dini 90. My gosh was that thing fast!!!!! There were adults riding with the kids through the woods to help them if needed, most were racers that would be racing later in the day, and they could not keep up with this kid in the woods!! If we keep this up, LT80 will have to build us a Dini killer!!! Overall I was really proud of my son. He even stoped to help a smaller kid get unstuck from a log.

Ah who says good sportmanship is dead?Stopping to help another rider was very nice but can really hurt your finshing position..LOL Still second place is very good, especially for his first race.It is really amazing how fast some kids can go on a fully modded machine.Hope you have deep pockets though.

The kid on the Dini had just lapped my son so he told me he knew there was no way he could win. The kid that got stuck was on a 50 and a tiny little guy. He couldn't get his quad off of a downed tree. The kid that was running 3rd stopped also because he didn't want to pass my son while he was helping a fellow rider. Kids can be cruel at times, but they really showed some class in this race!!!

I think all that is cool as heck!
It only reflects on how well you have raised your child.
Kudos and a high five

That's nice!! The racing thing is a kick!! I'm also involved as I too have a 10 year old racing (LT80). He's racing TT out here on the west coast (Bay Area) and doing pretty well. He got (2) 2nds last week 80 & 90 main. I'm having a lot of fun. It brings back old memories of when I raced (late model stock cars). The size of the vehicle may be different, but the atmosphere is pretty much the same, IE: People with go fast secrets they can't divulge, helpful hints from people on what to do/what not to do, what works best Etc. So far I've had a ball and met a lot of nice people...
