Default I really need help with my new viper

ok, I screwed up and I admit I am not that mechanically sound. My new Viper 90 was running great, idling a bit low...so I played around with the gold screw on the carburator and now I'm in a mess and my kids are not too happy. Viper won't start now. It did a few times and I gave it some throttle and it just dies out...A few times it did throttle up for a while(15 seconds or so) but then slowly stalls out. My battery is nearly dead so now I'm charging it up. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on what to do when battery is charged?....and no, I can't bring it to my dealer since I bought it over the internet(maybe a big mistake). Darn, I wish I never touched that carburator screw.....

first off i would go back to the setting you were at before the problem occured then try it again. This isnt a stupid question but does it have lots of gas c/k to make sure.

which gold screw ??? the idle adjustment is the gold screw that has a flat head screwdriver slot in it or you can turn it with your fingers. the other gold screw which you have to use a screwdriver on is the air adjustment. if you messed with that one you will need to start over with it. turn it in all the way, back it back out 2 turns and start the quad. adjust this screw to the highest idle you can get with this screw. now you can adjust the other screw which is the idle adjustment.

Shoot some starting fluid in your carb and do what Mark said while it's running. Set the air screw, then while your turning it over, role the idle screw slowly until it starts.

Thanks guys....I feel really stupid. There was gas in it, but not enough. I switched over to reserve and it started up. I figured if it had some gas in it, then having ithe fuel line set to on would be fine.

You use starting fluid on a 4 stroke. NEVER on a 2 stroke. You use spray WD-40 instead.
Listen to Mark He'll have good info.

WD-40 doesn't work good, I use chain lube but I thought I'd catch hell for that.

Why I said that: WD will work but yes it isn't ether. WD has to be aerosol. The fear is having the ether ignite in the bottom of the motor.
Sorry, wasn't meaning to give anyone heck.
