Dinli Trex 90 no go on sand
Our Dinli does really well on sandy flats, we put on paddles and that help some but there seems to be a big lag, it doesnt down shift when hitting the slopes and these are little ones, we have a 7 yo. It seems be gettin progressively worse with the throttle being pinned and nothing, but as soon as you lift the back end up it frees its self and goes.
Its been very frustration since no one in our area has ever heard of the Dinli brand let alone what might be wrong with it.
We want to change the tranny fluid but can find what to replace it with, and hope someone here might have some ideas or suggestions before we have to sell it.
Thanks,
Bridgett

The paddles made a big difference, less fish tailing and they dig and get going on the flats. We are wanting to make sure it isnt the K.I.S.S. before we get into the money factor. We bought it used and everything looks great, but we know how much sand can guck things up too. LOL

My 9yr old daughter has a Kazuma 90 same engine as all the off brands it woudn't go in the sand either it was fine in the dirt but you had to give her a push in the sand to get going, and wouldn't climb I installed a Hetrick pipe and clutch kit with a main jet, I also fabbed a air intake out of a chrome plumbing p-trap and the thing lifts the front wheels with my 220lbs on it, I am thinkng about changing gearing to get more top end as it has tons of bottom end power now.If you have any questions email me.

Just thought I would post a follow up on what we found, we pulled the rear and front clutch and found 2 of the rollers in the front where chewed up to almost nothing. Have the new parts and going to work on it this week. Hopefully that will help part of the problem then on to a pipe.
Thank you for the suggestions!!!
