Default no spark or very little

I have a 04 predator 90. It really hasnt run perfect since i bought it in may. Now it has very little or no spark. Im taking it in to the dealer tomorrow since its under warranty.

Did anyone else have a problem with the coil? Please let me know if this fixed the problem with it cutting out, sputtering not starting correctly and so on.

Thanks,
Bob

Hello
We have 2 04 Predador 90cc
I had a problem with starting with hot engine.
Would run fine, shut off for a rest, would not restart, let it still for 3-5 mins - starts great and runs as if nothing happened.
I was lucky enough to pull the sparkplug wire, plug in a new sparkplug and see no spark.
30 seconds later the quad started fine
Turned out to be ignition coil
Been fine since coil was replaced
hope this helps

Bisho,

We had the same problem. Then it just died out completly. We got a new coil and that did nothing to fix the problem. We needed a new stator. When we got the new stator we also got a new CDI and replaced the old one and all is working well.

If it is under warranty then you have nothing to worry about.

Goodluck
