SKYGO ATV
#6
I have a Skygo 150 4 stroke atv and have had absolutly no luck finding any kind of info on this quad. I'm looking for a manual or even just a wiring diagram. If anybody has any info or knows where to get it, please let me know. Thank you.

I have no information on this quad. Since the thread you are responding to is really old it is probable that this company isn't around any more. But I don't know for sure...
Note that a lot of 150cc quad engines are chinese copies of the the Honda GY6 engine. Do you know if your engine is GY6? If so you are very lucky in that there is a lot of info on these machines - including full blown service manuals downloadable for free, and a plethora of parts vendors.
GY6 engines have a fully automatic CVT belt drive. If you have a clutch lever and discrete gears your engine is *not* a GY6. GY6's are horizontal in profile, and have a plastic shroud around the engine cooling fins which is part of a forced air cooling system.
Is there any particular reason that you are looking for a wiring diagram? I don't have one, but often quad wiring is fairly generic. Besides, published diagrams are sometimes so incredibly wrong they turn out to be useless anyway...

Yea I saw that it was a really old post, but i have never found anyone who has had this quad before. I bought it about 6 months back for 100 bucks because it didnt run. I did a little work on the wiring and got it running. So I gave this quad to my daughters to learn on. I would just like to have some kinda guide on how everything is supposed to be. I havent looked at the stampings yet to see exactly what I got, I plan to do that this weekend. It needs some work... I think my daughters bicycle goes faster then this thing.

ATV (XGJAO150ST) - ATV (XGJAO150ST) Supplier

Your link said something about a 4 speed transmission. That is *not* a GY6 motor since it has a CVT fully automatic drive with no selectable gears (other than forward, neutral and reverse.
And that web site looked more like a teaser website interested in posting a couple atv pic's and then trying to sell you charcoal bamboo pet mats, binoculars, and mattresses (amongst other things).
If you find you do have a GY6 engine there are two kinds (long and short as I recall). Be sure to do research, ask questions, and only deal with suppliers that will answer your questions intelligently and stand behind their product.
