Advice on an '04 Dinli Diamond Back 90
#1
I just purchased a Demo '04 Dinli Diamond Back 90cc, which has 65 miles on it. I picked it up at a recent large swap meet from a Dinli manufacturers rep tent. (It has a speedometer on it as well as fully functioning stock front headlights) I didn't think that the Diamond Back came from the factory with these items stock. Is it possible that the decals or plastic have been changed?? The unit is flawless, with only minor scuffs on the plastic. Is there any way that I can tell from the VIN # what model it is, or confirm the year?? I am very pleased with the quality of the unit so far, everything seems to very solid. Is there anything on this unit that I should look out for??
Thanks!
Thanks!

To discover the good, the bad and what many are upgrading on their Dinli units, you may want to use the search button on this forum. Search for Dinli and ensure you pick the Kids ATV forum. From there, you can review many historical posts on Dinli, then decide what needs to be changed for your unique riding conditions. For example, remove the rear rack until your new "young rider" gets used of going up / down hills. After they've got leaning mastered, re-install the rear rack (if is came with one).
A good name to keep in your Dinli archives is Justin Hall justin@dinliusa.com I've heard he's a VP, Senior R&D Prime, or something like that. Very nice fellow to talk about Dinli's with. Especially when it comes to applying mods. If you've exhausted your VIN research activities with your local Dinli Dealer or Dinli Regional Reps (sure hope you picked up a few business cards fromt their sales tent), send Justin an email. I'm sure he'll ensure your regional Dinli Rep will answer any of your product questions.
Hope this helps...

It sounds like you have a diamondback/beast model. The beast has a speedometer and racks but the decals are diamondback right, same quad just different options.Everyone is right Justin is wonderful to work with he actually sponsers my son and a great guy,he knows his product very well. The vin # is behind the front bumper on a bracket look there I think you'll find it.Good luck with the quad they are great quads and we'll be better in years to come
