Default LT80 nerf bars

Can anyone post a picture or the link to a picture of a Suzuki LT80 with nerf bars fitted as I would like to see how they fit and what of the original bar remains.

Also which is the best way to go, ali or steel?

Any tips on where to get them from too?

One last thing, wheres the best place to get the plastic hand protectors (the ones that mount to the handlebar and enclose the hand plus brake lever protecting them from the weather etc) from for an LT80 online?

Cheers.

Default LT80 nerf bars

Go to my profile page, or click on the camera icon below my dog picture. I have pictures of my sons LT80 with two different styles of nerf bars. The first set I bought for him were from DG (they are the blue ones). The second set of nerfs are from AC (they are the aluminum ones). The DG nerfs mount flush with the footpegs which means they sit up higher off the ground. They seemed to work fine for him when he first started riding, but when he started riding faster and breaking harder I noticed his foot kept getting stuck between the foot brake and the nerf bar which didnt seem very safe to me (and was very frustrating during a race). The AC nerfs mount about 2 inches below the foot peg clearing the brake when it is fully engaged. The AC nerfs also look much better in my opinion. I didnt have to do any modification to the bike to install either pair. As far as price, I dont remember one pair costing much more than the other. I dont remember how much though. You can do a google search on each and probably find all the info you would ever want. Hope this helps.
