What does the plug look like? Dark sooty or wet plug means you are running rich. You may have a clogged air filter. Has anything changed since it was last running good? Let everyone know, you'll get lots of good help on here.

For more details on Spark Plugs, their colour and possibile causes, surf: - Press Here -

Note: Nice pictures are at the bottom of their page.

If you are running "low RPMs" (re: still have the CDI jumper installed), I'd recommend a plug with "P" within its coding and run a hotter plug. 2-stroke engines need lots of reving up / down to clear the carbon build up from their system. A hotter plug and a "P" (Protruding) Plug helps. Replacing its stock plug with a "Platnum plug" may help as well.

If you do the above and its still fouls plugs, your factory oil injecting system might be pumping out too much oil. Use the colour chart many times after performing the above to determine your next steps - if they are required.

Hope this helps...

Spike is right on there... You might also try to tweak the jetting on the carbs... From teh factory, they are going to be set really rich for initial breakin... and you will need to lean them out a little after you have a few hours on it. Putting around with the throttle limiter on will just make it worse... so you might just have to resign yourself to changing plugs every once in a while until the skill level gets to the point where you can start turning up the wick a bit.
