It would not take much to have better suspension than a Yamoto 150. I am in the middle of modifying my wifes yamoto after discovering the rear shock has 9/16 of an inch of travel. I had to cut it apart to find out. How much does the Eton 150 cost ?

the 150r viper retails for 2,599.00. i'll probley sell mine for around 2,500.00 out the the door. Remember e-ton has been around for years so they know what it takes to keep them #1 in sales in the u.s. I know yamomtos are a inexpensive quad but you get what you pay for not saying you purchased a bad quad but my own opinion is that the e-ton finish work is very good before i started to sell e-ton's i went to the indy dealer expo theres alot of oversea's company's try to get into the youth market i did look at the yamomotos out to indy but there wasnt much interast for me to carry them

bombman, I would hope that at almost twice the price it would be a better quad and I'm sure it is. The Yamoto and the other chinese clones are what I concider to be a good entry level quad, no more. The suspension alone is really unimpressive, definitely in trouble going fast in the rough. There is just no real suspension travel, maybe 1" in the rear and optimistically 2" in the front. Do you think that the Eton's are as well made as the Japanese quad's?
