Can anyone please tell me how to adjust the cdi or which wire I need to cut to make the bike run better?

DCRNA - Take the seat off, next to the battery there is a black box withe wires coming out. This is the CDI...Lift it out and turn the yellow dial 0-7..Factory setting is 4.....Not much of a change going up...

I have looked there with no luck............anybody else know where the wire is that you cut to make this bike run faster?

I did turn the box up to 7, but it didnt make that much difference.

There is no wire to cut on the 05.

 

I can't even find the CDI box i see the battery and sum wires coming outa it then there is like this little space that is right next to the battery and it looks like sumthing is supposed to go there but there is nuthing there

 

CRFBoy99 - Only the reverse models CDI are under the seat....The others are in the front of the quad..

Remove the front grill
on the right side under the fender you will see the black box.

It's held to the frame by a rubber mount.

Good luck...You wont see much of a change turning it up....Need some engine mods for that..
