Default Pred-90 stretched 3" sideways...

It's my son's 10th birthday in a few more days. For one of his gifts, we got him 4 x 1.5" wheel spacers for his '03 Pred-90. This will create more stability for his 130 lbs body weight, and make it better for his 7.5 year old sister - who will be driving it in 6 more months.

For those of you who want to see the results of 1.5" wheel spacers on a Pred-90, surf:

If wondering, I used "thread lock tight" on its inner bolts. We'll do a little trail riding this weekend to let the 1.5" spacers "settle in". Next week, I'll be re-tightening its inner spacer bolts and applying lock tight to its outer wheel nuts.

To me, all minis should be widened with spacers or wider A-Arms. Unique driving conditions and affordability determines how to make your mini wider.

Special thanks to "markvette" and Billy Holt. Without their involvement, our Trail Riding Pred-90 wouldn't have become "stretched 3 in. sideways". In other words, it would still be as skinny as the day it left the factory.

Hope the above pictures help others...

My only concern is rocks or other 'hazzards' contacting the brake lever and other critical hardware, by virtue of more exposure. Any thoughts?
