Lt50 Gearing

The oil injection and restrictor on the pilot have long been removed, but I shure could use a uni filter and pipe... Probably a piston and rings too as this little bugger has a TON of hours on it.
Have you done any porting on yours? I've ported all my bikes, but havent even looked at this little one. My Son doesn't need more power (YET),
Any idea what part number or place I can find a Uni? I'll be looking into the sprocket situation with your info... Thanks again!

Dirtmomma's brother did all the internal motor work,it is case matched, I don't know what kind of porting work he did. The uni filter I use is the flat round one for diaper bikes, xr/crf 50/70. Any solid bikke shop should fix u up with the uni for around $7.50-8.00 bones.

Addict, I just caught your signature. This lil fiddy makes enough power, that yesterday afternoon, in dry grass, my son pinned the throttle and it left him sitting on the grass. (funny as heck to watch that too) A couple of pictures of it (the fiddy) are in my photo page. check it out. Nerf bars are getting fabbed next week! Oh yea!

That's a pretty tough looking 50!! Mine doesn't look anything like that... It's that gawd awful orange with turf tamer tires all the way around. I'm thinking that an enamel overhaul is required once I get things back into shape.
Thanks for the tip on the Uni!
I went for a little zoot on our 50 this weekend, definitely too high geared... slow out of the gate, but runs out pretty decent... way too fast for my son (He'll be 3 in June)
Maybe I'm pushing it a little bit early too, but he sure loves to ride it.
